Terms and Conditions
1.1. AcceptanceBy purchasing, accessing, sending, creating, redeeming, or attempting to redeem any Uquid Gift Card or otherwise using Uquid Gift Card services (“Gift Card Services”), you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms of use (“Gift Card Terms”), as updated and amended from time to time. You confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Gift Card Terms together with any other policies or documents referenced herein. If you do not agree to these Gift Card Terms in full, you should not use the Gift Card Services.
1.2. Incorporation of Terms of Use
All terms and clauses contained in the Uquid Terms of Use (except where expressly modified herein) are incorporated by reference. These Gift Card Terms constitute Product Terms. References in the Terms of Use to Uquid Services shall include the Gift Card Services described here. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Gift Card Terms and the general Terms of Use, these Gift Card Terms shall prevail with respect to the Gift Card Services.
1.3. Modification
Uquid reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Gift Card Terms (or any incorporated terms) at any time. Your continued use of the Gift Card Services after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
1.4. Review Requirement
Please carefully review these Gift Card Terms and the general Uquid Terms of Use before purchasing or redeeming any Uquid Gift Card.
2. Expiry
2.1. Expiry Period
Uquid Gift Cards have an expiry period of 6 months from the date of creation (unless otherwise extended by Uquid). After the expiry date, the card will be invalid and any remaining balance will be forfeited. It is solely your responsibility to ensure the card is redeemed before expiration.
3. Redemption
3.1. Crediting Value
When redeemed, the full value of the Gift Card will be credited to your Uquid account balance on the Uquid Shop App or Website. You may view your Gift Card balance by logging into your Uquid account.
3.2. Reloading
Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, reissued, or topped up with additional funds once issued.
3.3. Refunds and Cancellations
All Gift Card purchases are final. No refunds or cancellations are permitted once a Uquid Gift Card has been created or sent.
3.4. Balance Errors
Uquid reserves the right to correct any balance errors if a clerical or accounting mistake has occurred and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of such adjustments.
3.5. Nature of Gift Card
Uquid Gift Cards are not legal tender, bank cards, credit or debit cards, securities, or financial instruments. You cannot exchange, withdraw, or redeem them for cash or any other form of currency.
4. Limitations of Usage
4.1. Prohibited Uses
Without prior written consent from Uquid, you may not:
Sell, trade, or exchange Uquid Gift Cards for cash, cryptocurrency, or any other payment instrument.
Use Uquid Gift Cards as payment for goods or services outside the official Uquid ecosystem.
Use Uquid Gift Cards for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized transactions.
4.2. Disruption and Harm
Engaging in any activity that, in Uquid’s sole discretion, disrupts or harms Uquid, its affiliates, users, reputation, or operations is strictly prohibited. Uquid reserves the right to block, suspend, or terminate any account or card involved in such activities.
4.3. Jurisdictional Limitations
Uquid Gift Cards may not be available in certain jurisdictions or restricted countries due to compliance or legal limitations. Please refer to the FAQ section for an updated list of restricted locations.
4.4. Fraudulent Acquisition
Uquid reserves the right to void or deactivate any Gift Card if it reasonably believes the card was obtained or used through fraudulent, unauthorized, or unlawful means. Uquid is not responsible for losses resulting from third-party fraud or misuse.
4.5. Associated Risks
By using Uquid Gift Cards, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks. Uquid is not responsible for any cards that are lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your authorization.
5. Use in Violation of These Terms
5.1. Misleading Use
By using the Gift Card Services, you agree not to use or promote Uquid Gift Cards in any misleading, deceptive, or harmful manner.
5.2. Resale
Uquid Gift Cards are not for resale. Any cards found to be duplicated, resold, or obtained in violation of these Gift Card Terms are void.
5.3. Enforcement Rights
Uquid reserves the right to, without notice:
Void or suspend any Gift Card without refund;
Suspend or terminate your Uquid account; or
Restrict access to Uquid Services if fraudulent or unlawful activity is detected.
6. Liability
6.1. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uquid and its affiliates shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from your use or inability to use a Uquid Gift Card, except where caused directly by gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Uquid.
6.2. No Warranties
Uquid makes no warranties, express or implied regarding the Uquid Gift Cards, including without limitation, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
6.3. Sole Remedy for Error
If a Uquid Gift Card is determined to be non-functional due to a Uquid system error, your sole remedy shall be the replacement of that card. In no case shall Uquid’s total liability exceed the balance remaining on the Gift Card at the time of the claim.
6.4. Unauthorized Third Parties
Uquid shall not be responsible for Gift Cards purchased or obtained from unauthorized third parties. Only Gift Cards purchased through official Uquid channels (uquid.com, shop.uquid.com, or Uquid App) and authorized marketplaces are valid and eligible for support.
7. Governing Law
These Gift Card Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the competent courts of London, United Kingdom.
